{"id":1587,"date":"2008-07-03T10:31:09","date_gmt":"2008-07-03T10:31:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fabricoproprio.net\/confraria\/"},"modified":"2022-11-29T10:33:28","modified_gmt":"2022-11-29T10:33:28","slug":"brotherhood","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fabricoproprio.net\/en\/brotherhood\/","title":{"rendered":"Brotherhood"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The launch of the Pastel de Nata Brotherhood took place at Pastelaria Vresailles, in Lisbon, on the 1st of July, and Rita, Pedro and Frederico were there to take part and hand out posters and Pastel de Nata badges to all the fellow brothers.<br \/>\nThis brotherhood started on the online social network\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.thestartracker.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Startracker<\/a>, which gathers Portuguese professionals scattered throughout the world. We agree with what Jos\u00e9 Ant\u00f3nio Sousa, Stratracker memeber and founder of the brotherhood (and who can se found in the centre of the photo) told Lusa (Portugal\u2019s news agency): \u201cThe Pastel de Nata is a very banal thing in the life of the Portuguese and therefore can help to spread the image of Portugal abroad\u201d. One of the first\u00a0initiatives\u00a0of the Brotherhood was the creration of a Pastel de Nata World Map, which can be found on the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/pasteisdenata.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pasteisdenata.org<\/a>\u00a0website, and that was an idea of Andr\u00e9 Gon\u00e7alves from Wizi. The photo on this post is by\u00a0Catarina Magalh\u00e3es Ramalho.<\/p>\n<p>Is is with great satisfaction that we see the start of this brotherhood \u2014 which shares so many of the same goals of the Fabrico Pr\u00f3prio project \u2014 and we hope it will gather many brothers and sisters!
