However, not all the cakes there have a photo, as we haven\u2019t, in our many incursions in pastelarias in the Porto and Lisboa areas, and beyond, been able to photograph all the specimens we have found.\u00a0<strong>And that\u2019s why we need your help.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We want to have the maximum amount of photos of each of the listed cakes, so we can show the veriety \u2013 and often the singularity! \u2013 of Portuguese cakes. If inside the book we\u2019ll have, in what we call the encyclopaedia, one and only one photograph of each cake, shot against white and with the proper lighting \u2013 what we call the cake archetype collection \u2013 here we want to have the wildest variations of those archetypes, from all over the country \u2013 and beyond.<br \/>\nPlease send your photos to info\u00a0<strong>info[at]fabricoproprio.net<\/strong>\u00a0or add them to our\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/groups\/fabricoproprio\/\">Flickr Group.<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0We\u2019ll take care of placing them on the site and credit them accordingly.<\/p>\n<p>We would also like to ask you for one more thing: we need stories. Does someone know for how long has the Caracol been made? And where does the Jesu\u00edta come from (this one we know)? And what was the Pir\u00e2mide called back in the 70s (this one we know too)? And where does the T\u00edbia get its name \u2013 and its shape??? We want to fill the voids in our historical research, that has taken from the National Library to the tables of master Confectioners, experts in the area and gastronomical specialists. Please tell us everything you know. They don\u2019t have to be scientifically validated, they can be legends or urban myths connected to each cake.
