The Largo da Gra\u00e7a is a unique congregation of Lisbon’s old and new semi-industrial patisseries. This square gathers and unusual amount of Fabrico Pr\u00f3prio establishments, which serve the “old” clientele but also the many tourists and new inhabitants who arrive or pass through this historical Lisbon neighbourhood. In this section we bring together two intersecting perspectives to testify how consumption, but above all conviviality, in the square’s\u00a0patisseries and cafes create a unique urban experience. But also how they demonstrate the strength and capacity for renewal of Portuguese gastronomic culture.<\/p>\n
