Pyramid

S & I: Cone made from trimmings dough, with chocolate coating. Decorated with chantilly cream and one cherry half. H & C: No one seems to be able to explain why it is called a pyramid, when in fact it seems to be a cone. In the 1950s and 60s it was also known as a Matateu in homage to the famous football player of Mozambican origin. Coating variations (such as white chocolate, overleaf ), and in decoration variations (different coloured cherries, walnuts, sugar sprinkles, sugar glaze drizzle, etc.) are common.
