292 pages, 92 cakes, 5+5 illustrations, tens of photos, 10 patisseries, 8 Bola de Berlim sellers, 4 seasons of Castella, 3 essays, several international Pastéis de Nata, a lot of characters of text and 1 saint. The Fabrico Próprio book was finished this Friday, and it’s already at the printer. It gathers over 30 contributions from around the world (we would now like to thank everyone who took part!) and it was put together between Lisbon (but also Porto, London, Cape Town and a few planes) and The Hague, where Susana and Kai not only had to put up with us and our endless corrections and changes of ideas, but also made, out of a pile of cakes and testimonies of their impact in our lives, a beautiful book, of which we are very proud. We can’t wait to see it ‘live’, what will happen in the end of March. Look out for the start of our online sales, and the launch calendar!
