Luis Royal
Luís Royal (1974) graduated in Industrial Design and specialised in the glass industry in Marinha Grande. It’s in Lisbon however that he has applied his know-how as a designer and dedicated himself to thinking and discovering new universes for material culture. Alongside the creative direction of BÁ Studio, which he has been doing for 20 years, he has dedicated himself to research and writing, collaborating with various media and participating in various publications. After completing a post-graduate course in museum studies, where he researched the means that make design as a collectible, museum object, he has dedicated himself to ceramics, having completed advanced training in visual arts at Ar.Co. He is addicted to objects and any material culture phenomena.
