A cake for: Cristiano Ronaldo
If Cristiano Ronaldo was a cake, what would it be?
In the 50s and 60s, the Pyramid (one of our favourites) was called Matateu in honour of the great Belenenses, Sporting, Benfica and Portugal team player. Matateu was to many the best Portuguese striker ever. This past Sunday, where in Público’s P2 one could read the article Joana Amaral Cardoso (who knows about cakes almost, almost as much as we do) wrote on Fabrico Próprio (more after the jump, check out the PDF on the Press section, right-hand column), but also that Cristiano Ronaldo is perhaps the best football player in the world today.
The role of cakes in Portuguese popular culture was one of the things that made us work on this project, and we think Portuguese cakes follow our society.
Hence the question, and the challenge: if today we were to call a cake Cristiano Ronaldo, which one would be choose? We await your suggestions and comments!
